I am in a little perplexed today, I have been using some of the tools available for Social Media, providing tips, promoting business, blogs and adding my general social commentary to the issues of the day. I am happy using Twitter, Foursquare, Linkedin etc, I also have a Facebook account.
My perplexity arises when I want to promote my clients businesses and my business on Facebook. The terms and conditions states that you can not have two accounts, especially if it’s a business account. Like many of my clients I do have a company fan page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Faringdon-United-Kingdom/myPA-Virtual-Services/117219054962768 but I’m not sure if this is right. On a personal note, I have a lot of business friends on my personal page that I would like to move over to the business page as I discuss different ideas and subjects with different people.
There is a solution to my perplexity, I have asked my business mentor and coach who specialises in this subject for his advice, thanks Mr Griffin I know that you will have the answer. (Knowing Dave, he will make me figure it out myself as only a business coach does).
I have also decided to attend a two day Social Media training course on the subject. Not before time many of my clients have said, as they would like us to take on this task for them. We already add tweets etc, but we have been asked to monitor and create blogs and arrange small Social Media campaign for them. I am very excited about this, I love learning new skills and computer packages.
Listen, its not THAT sad honest.
